La Resistenza is a somewhat secretive organization that is an underground gang, for lack of better words. They are constantly recruiting members of COUGH and FAINTs for their cause and they are very careful to not approach open members of BIRD (however, this proves to be very difficult as not all members of BIRD are open about their occupation choice). La Resistenza is the brainchild of a very... charismatic man who shall be referred here as "V". With operatives and people in charge of recruitment, they could be considered to be the good guys or the bad guys - depending on what way you choose to look at it. There is not much that is known about La Resistenza beyond the fact that they exist. Their members are among some of the best and the brightest that the world has to offer - hence their citizenship here in Ames. But at the same time... Some of their members are not ones that had to sit through quarantine or graduated at the top of their university class at the age of fourteen. Some of their members represent the average man and woman and child. They believe that it is not only the best and the brightest that deserve to be saved, but everyone who is healthy enough to be saved should be saved. This, of course, clashes with the views of those in BIRD, but c'est la vie.
